From the first moment of the pandemic in Greece we started work to strengthen the protection of public benefit organizations across the country against COVID-19.

The Eurolife ERB Insurance Group contacted us, listened to us, and understood very early the need to protect closed structures that accommodate fellow human beings in the most vulnerable groups of the population. The trust shown to us by the company was transformed into the provision of necessary health material, medical machinery and equipment, as well as disinfection and cleaning items for the 12 Social Protection centers throughout Greece, with the invaluable cooperation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

The donation of Eurolife ERB Insurance Group through Desmos has created a significant positive impact on the health and protection of our fellow human beings, who are particularly vulnerable.

Within the first 4 critical weeks for the spread of the virus, we managed to provide 680,000 necessary items and equipment to the 50 closed accommodation facilities of GMP from Thrace to Crete, from Zakynthos to Mytilene. More than 5,000 of our fellow human beings in nursing homes, Child and Infant Protection institutions, Chronic Disease Clinics, institutions for people with disabilities and serious diseases received valuable help in the prevention, protection and care for the unprecedented conditions we are experiencing.

The last deliveries will take place in the next few days and this important donation will be completed. We thank the Eurolife ERB Insurance Group and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs for their trust and excellent cooperation, which contributed decisively to highlighting these vulnerable groups and their needs.
