Karamandaneio Children’s Hospital of Patras

Karamandaneio Children’s Hospital of Patras is the only dedicated children’s hospital outside Attica, serving as an essential healthcare facility for children across Western Greece and the Ionian Islands. It provides inpatient care, diagnostic services and emergency treatment, addressing a wide range of paediatric healthcare needs.

Desmos supported the Hospital through the donation of medical equipment to several clinical departments, including Internal Medicine, Paediatric Neurology, Outpatient Clinics, the Emergency Department, Operating Theatres and the MRI Department.

The donation included, among other items, electrocardiographs, pulse oximeters, suction devices, neonatal vein finders, a nerve stimulator, a video laryngoscope and an MRI-compatible patient monitor.

The new equipment strengthens the Hospital’s diagnostic and treatment capabilities, supporting medical and nursing staff in their daily work and contributing to safer and more effective care for young patients.
