Jenny Karezi Foundation – 2024

The Jenny Karezi Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes awareness and the development of specialized palliative care for patients with chronic or life-threatening illnesses. It financially supports the operation of the Palliative Care Unit of the University of Athens Medical School, operating since 1992 (and since 2004 as part of Aretaieio Hospital).

The Pediatric and Adolescent Palliative Care Program, housed within the Foundation, provides comprehensive management of the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of children and families facing life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

The donation of an examination bed and chair to the Unit was essential for its proper equipment and operation, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for young patients.
