In 2022, we achieved the following, among other things:
- We continued our work vigorously in B. Evia and the fire-affected areas of 2021 with donations of medical and health equipment, school equipment, basketball courts, volleyball, and football 5×5 and more.
- We are implementing a major initiative to support volunteer forest fire protection teams across Greece by providing them with equipment and training.
- We started the 4th cycle of” Desmos for young people ” with 11 jobs in an equal number of charitable organizations for one year.
- We have secured 8 additional jobs for young people and institutions in B. Evia with the aim of creating incentives for their stay in the region and strengthening civil society.
- We have launched the “Desmos Offers Warmth” program, which has so far supplied 30 facilities, bringing warmth to 1,331 of our fellow citizens.
- We have met needs in 95 public schools by improving learning conditions for 8,432 students through the Desmos for Schools programme.
- We have matched in-kind donations totaling over €350,000 from companies and individuals with the needs of organizations across Greece.
- We have completed our response to COVID-19 through projects and donations totaling €66,000.
