Support to schools in Crete and Rhodes through the Desmos for Schools programme

Through the program “Desmos for Schools” the hotels Domes Resort of Elounda and Noruz Chania supported the 7th kindergarten of Ag. Nicholas and the 2nd High School of Chania.  

Domes Resorts offered computers, laptop, fax, printer, projector, special styluses and equipment for inking sketches and cartoons via PC.

The offer will modernize the equipment and will be a key tool of the courses, which will upgrade the quality of education and expand learning opportunities.

Sheraton Rhodes strengthened the 10th Primary School of the medieval city of Rhodes by providing a computer with the necessary functional and programs that create a modernized, attractive and interactive learning environment.

The equipment will offer the possibility of equal learning opportunity to the school’s 35 students, supporting their technological literacy.

The largest proportion of students come from low-income families.
