Unique concert by Anna Vissi and Desmos in Mati
A crowd of people flooded, literally, the N.A.O.M.A. (Mati-Attica Nautical Athletic Club) on Saturday 7 September 2019 in a magical evening with Anna Vissi and Desmos in Mati. The concert was organized by the non-profit association Desmos, with Anna Vissi responding immediately to its call and participating pro bono, to seal the completion of the regeneration projects of Desmos in the area.
Desmos, responding to the needs of the community, in just one year, reconstructed playgrounds, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and public areas thanks to the donations of 24 companies and more than 300 individuals.
In an unforgettable, warm and personal evening, Anna Vissi sang from her heart with the local residents, of whom she has personal memories and moments, and sent a message of joy, love and optimism. A message about life going on, a message of hope.
Visibly moved, Anna Vissi took the stage and asked the audience to hold a minute’s silence in memory of the people who perished. He then added: “I would like today with you to share only love for these beautiful neighborhoods, which this year Desmos made some places more beautiful, and we thank him very much for that. Because these are the places that bring the whole world together, your children play, our children, our grandchildren, and they have a great time.
The area is worth a lot, it is so beautiful this place, that I want to see it again full of joy, optimism and many colors, like today.” The concert was hosted at the venues of N.A.O.M.A. (Mati-Attica Nautical Athletic Club)– which were renovated this year by Desmos-are a symbol and reference point for the region and the local community.
