Volunteer Week 1-7 April: I Care and Act & Let’s do it Greece

Students, teachers and family in a week of volunteering for all Greece!

A great voluntary alliance has just begun!

For another year students, teachers, family and friends volunteers, we give our hands, as the whole first week of April is dedicated to volunteering, in all schools of our country, in which impressive actions are prepared in four main axes: environment, fellow man, Community, Animal Welfare.

For the first time, “Let’s do it Greece”, the largest simultaneous voluntary action in the country and “I Care and I act”, the educational program for volunteering and active citizens implemented by the non-profit association Desmos and the Lambrakis Foundation, join forces by organizing a joint School Volunteering Week.

This is the week from 1 to 7 April 2019, where each school can organize its own actions, invite other schools, and cooperate with the institutions and groups of its region, sending a strong message of volunteering and contribution to every corner of the country.

For the realization of this large voluntary project has been given approval by the Ministry of Education, while already the nationwide map of the action has begun to be filled with schools of both primary and Secondary Education.
