“Agia Sofia” Children’s Hospital

“Agia Sofia” Children’s Hospital is one of Greece’s leading paediatric healthcare facilities, providing specialised medical services to infants, children and adolescents. The Hospital operates a wide range of clinical departments, including the Neurosurgery Department, which provides diagnosis and surgical treatment for complex neurosurgical conditions in children.

Desmos supported the Neurosurgery Department through the donation of specialised surgical equipment, including an electric craniotome, an ultrasonic piezoelectric surgical device, instruments for aneurysm and vascular procedures, a vascular Doppler ultrasound device and specialised suction equipment for microsurgical procedures.

The new equipment strengthens the Department’s surgical capabilities, supporting medical professionals in their work and contributing to the safer management of complex paediatric neurosurgical cases.

Through this donation, Desmos supports specialised paediatric care, helping improve healthcare services for children requiring complex surgical procedures.
