6th Program Cycle

The “Desmos for Youth” program returns for its 6th cycle, offering unemployed young people aged 18 to 30 the opportunity to gain meaningful professional experience through employment placements at non-profit organisations.

Desmos fully covers their employment costs for 12 months, strengthening non-profit organisations with human resources that contribute meaningfully to their work and social impact.

Since 2016, 5 program cycles have been completed, creating 61 employment placements across 59 non-profit organisations and directly or indirectly benefiting more than 98,000 people. The placements span a wide range of professions, specialisations and fields of activity across different regions of Greece.

In the new program cycle, 12 employment placements will be funded (01/12/2026–30/11/2027). Particular consideration will be given to applications involving young people with blindness/visual impairment, as well as non-profit organisations working in this field.

Applications open on 14/09/2026 and close on 20/10/2026. Applications must be submitted jointly by the non-profit organisation and the candidate.

Applications will be evaluated based on the description and objectives of the employment placement, as well as its expected impact on the non-profit organisation and society.
