Angeliki Frangou
5th cycle – Psychologist for the “Mental Health Support Hotline for Pregnant Women and New Mothers” program – Fainareti AMKE
Angeliki participated in the 5th cycle of the program at the Fainareti Non-Profit Organisation as a psychologist for the “Mental Health Support Hotline for Pregnant Women and New Mothers” program.
“The most striking case involved a father with a 6-month-old infant who exhibited severe depressive symptoms and also had a significantly complicated medical history. I admired his courage in reaching out to the Helpline and his request for psychiatric care. Not only did he acknowledge his mental health issues, but he also recognised that he needed professional help and has so far shown great consistency in adhering to his treatment plan.”
The Non-Profit Organisation Fainareti was founded in 2006 with the aim of conducting research and implementing initiatives to promote women’s and family health in Greece. Fenareti’s primary objective is to study, design, and develop programs and initiatives of all kinds to promote care and support for pregnant women, new mothers, newborns, and families.
