Greek Physics Team – Physics Olympiad

Coverage of travel and participation expenses for the Greek team

In July 2024, five students represented Greece at the European Physics Olympiad, held in Kutaisi, Georgia, alongside more than 250 students from 55 countries.

Desmos covered the Greek team’s travel and participation expenses, giving the students the opportunity to represent Greece in a major international science competition and put their knowledge and skills to the test in an international setting.

The Greek team returned with significant distinctions, earning one bronze medal and three honourable mentions.

Taking part in international competitions like this offers students valuable experiences, brings them into contact with peers from different countries, and encourages their interest in science and learning.
