Renovation of the school’s Natural Sciences laboratory

Koutsopodi Junior High School in Argolida is attended by 121 students from the surrounding area, where the local community relies largely on agriculture and livestock farming.

The school had identified the renovation of its Natural Sciences laboratory as a priority, as the existing space, which had been built in the 1980s, no longer met students’ needs for Chemistry experiments, observation of the natural world and creative learning activities.

With the aim of creating a modern and functional learning environment, Desmos renovated the laboratory, carrying out the necessary works and providing new equipment.

The works included repainting the laboratory, walls, ceiling and radiators, installing new cabinets and two sinks with storage units, as well as constructing 12 laboratory workbenches and a teacher’s desk.

The renovated laboratory now provides students with a suitable environment for experimentation and hands-on learning, supporting the educational process in Natural Sciences.
