Despina Stathopoulou

Despina Stathopoulou is General Manager of GANT in Greece and co-founder of Athens Riviera Yachting.

She brings extensive experience in communications and marketing, with a focus on strategic brand development. She previously served as Business Unit Director at Ogilvy Greece, where she led teams and supported the development of young professionals. In that role, she worked with clients including Amnesty International and the National Blood Donation Centre. Her career combines the creative thinking of communications with commercial leadership.

She is actively engaged in the dialogue on responsible communication through the Greek Advertising Self-Regulation Council (SEE). Since 2022, she has also been a mentor with Women On Top, supporting women’s professional development.

She studied at City, University of London.
