Myrto obtained a BA in sociology at the College of the Holy Cross of H.P.P. During her last year in America, she lived in New York, where she worked in branded stores and the American version of ELLE. She returned to Athens to deal with fashion and open her first store, magic-TEE, trading clothes, accessories and jewelry. She now works with her mother at the family business Ileana Makri A.E. who designs and exports valuable jewelry to many countries around the world. Myrto is one of the founding members of the bond.
