The Desmos for Schools program was launched in 2014 to support public schools across Greece \u2014 particularly those in remote and underprivileged areas \u2014 that struggle to meet their basic needs due to limited resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, we have connected with schools from major urban centers to the most isolated island and mountain communities. We record their needs, speak directly with teachers, and witness firsthand the impact that our support has on local communities. As with all Desmos programs, we oversee every stage of the process \u2014 from market research and budgeting to purchasing, delivery, and detailed reporting to our donors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our support covers a wide range of needs \u2014 from essentials such as stationery and craft materials to technological and laboratory equipment, sports gear, and modern learning tools like robotics systems, interactive boards, and 3D printers. We also respond to more structural needs, including the creation of school gardens, installation of fences, and renovation or construction of playgrounds and sports fields.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Every action is based on documented needs identified through close collaboration with the schools themselves. Our goal is to create learning environments that empower and inspire students every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To date, the program has supported 490 schools in all 13 regions of the country<\/strong> and has directly benefited 47,650 students<\/strong>. It has created economic value of \u20ac2,377,543<\/strong> for Greek society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the numbers, Desmos for Schools provides essential relief to teachers who strive to educate under challenging conditions, while offering children a safer, more functional, and more inspiring environment to learn and grow.
