program and children&#8217;s education<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-element-67501cec\">\n<div class=\"gb-element-e478d17e\"><div style=\"color:#e76d6c\" class=\"has-link-color wp-elements-1 wp-block-post-date has-text-color\"><time datetime=\"2019-08-01T00:00:00+03:00\">1\/8\/2019<\/time><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-11f7586c dn-diamond-item-alt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/en\/news\/category\/social-welfare\/\" rel=\"tag\">Social Welfare<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-element-b1f1f2a2\">\n<div class=\"gb-element-1be72f1d\">\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-76af1c55\">By choosing not to accept gifts for the baptism of their child, but to urge relatives and friends to offer the amount to Desmos, the Gkioura family supported the education of 198 children in 5 kindergartens, through the &#8220;Desmos for Schools&#8221; program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-e124e918\">Through the generous offer, an amount of\u20ac 4,400 was collected which covered the needs of 5 kindergartens in Pallini, Eleusis, Nea Makri and Nea Ionia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-6dbfe85a\">Kindergartens and young students acquired necessary technological equipment, which will modernize teaching and facilitate the work of teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"498\" class=\"gb-media-65ce919b\" alt=\"\" title=\"gkioura-1\" src=\"https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/gkioura-1.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/gkioura-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/gkioura-1-300x146.jpg 300w, https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/gkioura-1-768x374.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-cdf02fb8\"><em><strong>Kindergartens were equipped with:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-df474697\">3 computers with the necessary operating system and programs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-dd8ccf5a\">2 interactive boards<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-f886e7cf\">1 Projector<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-e511b3c1\">1 camera<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-48c77fe7\">1 Complete microphone unit<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-887a964a\">2 Multipurpose printers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-201f63d7\">Consumables<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-a68d19c5\">The family&#8217;s contribution through its effective use of the &#8220;<em><strong>Desmos for Schools<\/strong><\/em>&#8221;
