The goal was to uplift financially vulnerable families by providing them with items of basic need for their households, as well as educational and fun goods for the children. The families had an opportunity to pick up valuable goods in an atmosphere of family fun, spending an afternoon with the Antetokounmpo family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-27b3970f\">Desmos identified families in need that are beneficiaries of <strong>Action Aid<\/strong>, <strong>Emphasis Non-Profit<\/strong>, <strong>Kivotos tou Kosmou<\/strong>, <strong>Melissa Network<\/strong>, the<strong> Family Support Center of the Children\u2019s Villages SOS<\/strong>. Specifically 75 families of which 150 adults &amp; 97 children were our distinguished guests! We facilitated the transportation of the families by hiring coaches and prepared care packages with products valued at \u20ac500 per family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-b270c1d3\">The children had the opportunity to participate in multiple activities, games, arts &amp; crafts, face painting and to play basketball with the help of the <strong>CAFF ACADEMY<\/strong> trainers as well as the Antetokounmpo brothers, <strong>Giannis, Thanassis, Francis, Kostas and Alex<\/strong>. Their happy faces, cheers and laughter filled up the venue and created a warm and dynamic atmosphere. Their parents had the chance to lay back and enjoy watching their children having loads of fun. Moreover, they were able to navigate through the multitude of goods that we managed to secure for them such as food products, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, toys for every age as well as thing to munch like Burgers and Ice Cream!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-element-16d55632\">\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"gb-media-9d7c3504\" alt=\"\" title=\"desmos-x-caff-1\" src=\"https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/desmos-x-caff-1.jpg\"\/>\n\n\n\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" class=\"gb-media-2287ade3\" alt=\"\" title=\"desmos-x-caff-2\" src=\"https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/desmos-x-caff-2.jpg\"\/>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-46f8f545\">Both CAFF &amp; Desmos teams were present as well as the entire Antetokounmpo family, representatives from the beneficiary organizations 20 volunteers from Desmos, the representatives from the organisations that accompanied the familes, and the company representatives that offered their products and services for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-4cf5f286\">After a lot of playing and talking with the children, another <strong>BIG SURPRISE<\/strong> awaited them at the exit! The Antetokounmpo family lined up to give each family, along with gifts for each child, a basketball signed by all the brothers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-4e3a45b5\">This event could not have taken place without the generous support of many people who responded to our call for participation. Special thanks to the Zografou Philathlitikos Athletic Club Union for providing us with the Zografou Indoor Gymnasium for the event, a venue closely linked to the journey of the Antetokounmpo brothers. The volunteers, both young and old, the people from the organizations, and the representatives from the companies who offered their services and products for free:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-7a9755cb\">This incredible family day event could not have been realized without the generosity and participation of a multitude of individuals and companies. Special thanks to the Zografou Philathlitikos Athletic Club for providing us with the Zografou Indoor Gymnasium for the event, a venue closely linked to the journey of the Antetokounmpo brothers. The volunteers, both young and old, the people from the organizations, and the people behind the companies who offered their services that supported the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-6d41d84d\">Additionally, as the items collected exceeded all expectations, other families who were not present on that day will also benefit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-5095b353\">Specifically, we distributed surplus products to the <strong>Athens Municipality Reception and Solidarity Center<\/strong>, the <strong>Vyronas Social Grocery<\/strong>, the <strong>Zografou Philathlitikos<\/strong>, and the <strong>Home Project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-9055ee30\">Overall, the collected products are valued at <strong>\u20ac45,000<\/strong>, while the total cost of the event, including the donated items, is estimated at <strong>\u20ac55,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-d298d1e7\">We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this event. Together, we can make a difference and create a better future for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-a70b2f64\"><strong>Mariah Riddlesprigger, President of CAFF<\/strong>, said: <em>\u201cCAFF was created to mobilize impact and fuel more opportunities to support people in need.
