In 3rd grade of secondary school Biology, students build a DNA double helix with bricks, while in Physics they observe the effects of static electricity with the help of a Van de Graaff generator and become part of a closed electrical circuit by touching a glass plasma sphere. At the same time, in the Robotics Club they programme \u201csmart farmers\u201d that water the classroom plants and build small vehicles that move using voice commands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-cfa8eb19\">The delivery of the equipment took place on Friday, 30 January 2026, in the presence of the teachers, the Parents\u2019 Association, and representatives of Epignosis and Desmos. During the event, students presented the new tools and the robotics applications they are working on. It is an act of social responsibility and a tangible example of the social role that a modern business can and should have. The new room will be used educationally in many ways, both for teaching and through our school\u2019s Robotics Club, enabling students to develop interests, take part in activities, competitions and collaborative programmes, and engage with modern forms of learning that connect theory to practice.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-1cfc7a16\">Ms <strong>Dimitra Karapatsoudi<\/strong>, Computer Science Teacher at the 6th Experimental Junior High School of Alexandroupoli and Head of the Robotics Club, stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-f427d7d8\"><em>\u201cThey like the class because it is hands-on and not just theory. The process of making mistakes and correcting them cultivates their critical thinking and prompts them to make decisions. Working in teams also helps build teamwork. Robotics is something unique: it is the moment when code meets the real world. You write something on the screen and you see a motor turning, a sensor responding.
