The study highlighted the programme\u2019s significant contribution to local employment and to strengthening the operational capacity of civil society organisations in the affected region, capturing both its social and economic impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-e27bd4b1\">The programme was implemented with the <strong>exclusive donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) as part of the SNF&#8217;s Northern Evia Support Initiative <\/strong>and funded <strong>paid positions<\/strong> within local organisations, offering unemployed young people up to the age of 40 meaningful professional experience while reinforcing organisations working towards the recovery and revitalisation of Northern Evia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-b1a94625\">The assessment also demonstrated the programme\u2019s <strong>strong economic multiplier effect<\/strong>: for every <strong>\u20ac1<\/strong> spent on programme operations, <strong>\u20ac8.6<\/strong> was generated in the Greek economy, resulting in <strong>\u20ac239,920 in total economic output<\/strong> and the creation of <strong>8 new jobs<\/strong>.
