It facilitates the work of the medical team, allowing for monitoring, assessment, and care within the infant\u2019s own environment while minimizing unnecessary handling of these highly vulnerable patients.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-b2169164\">The donated electroencephalograph (EEG) became an essential neurological diagnostic tool for the care of critically ill newborns.
