Entire areas of Thessaly were submerged, leaving homes, schools, healthcare facilities, farmland and critical infrastructure severely damaged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" class=\"gb-media-b91456bb\" alt=\"\" title=\"thessalia-2\" src=\"https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/thessalia-2.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/thessalia-2.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/thessalia-2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/thessalia-2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/thessalia-2-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"gb-media-a8a66db0\" alt=\"\" title=\"thessalia-featured\" src=\"https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/thessalia-featured-e1784816515875.jpg\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-5271822e\">From the very first moment, Desmos activated its nationwide network of donors, partners and organisations, designing a comprehensive response that addressed the immediate, medium-term and long-term needs of the affected communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-ccb97d34\">To support this large-scale effort, <strong>\u20ac250,000<\/strong> was raised in monetary donations, along with more than <strong>\u20ac40,000<\/strong> in in-kind donations and services. This remarkable mobilisation was made possible through the support of <strong>18 companies<\/strong>, <strong>63 individual donors<\/strong>, <strong>25 community collection drives<\/strong>, <strong>2 crowdfunding campaigns<\/strong>, and one logistics partner, enabling Desmos to respond quickly and effectively to the rapidly evolving needs on the ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-5cb9114e\"><strong>Immediate Response<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-f19e4bec\">Our emergency response was built on close collaboration with organisations and volunteer teams already operating in the affected areas. We continued investing in projects with lasting social impact, strengthening education, healthcare and support for the region&#8217;s most vulnerable residents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-35b9bec5\">Through the \u201c<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/desmos.digitalnest.gr\/en\/building-a-better-future\/desmos-for-schools\/\">Desmos for Schools<\/a><\/strong>\u201d programme, infrastructure improvements and equipment were provided to <strong>16 schools<\/strong>, helping create safer and better learning environments for hundreds of students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text gb-text-fe39ddd9\">In parallel, the <strong>Palamas Health Centre in Karditsa<\/strong> was equipped with essential medical equipment.
