Phokion Potamianos<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Phokion Potamianos is the General Partner at Sylvina Capital, a family office based in San Francisco. Formerly a partner at Francisco Partners, a private equity fund specialising in technology investments, Mr Potamianos has also worked as Head of Semiconductor Banking at UBS and as an Institutional Investor and Wall Street Journal ranked Research Analyst at Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette. Mr Potamianos also serves on numerous other boards including Elliniki Etairia, the Knightsbridge School International, the American School of Classical Studies\/Gennadios Library, the American Institute of Archaeology and the New York based Sonnabend Collection Foundation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until recently Mr Potamianos was Chairman of the Advisory Board of the UC San Diego\u2019s Scripps Institute of Oceanography Marine Archaeology program. Mr Potamianos\u2019 interest in environmental, educational and research programs extends to contributions towards initiatives such as the construction of Greek charity, ANIMA\u2019s raptor rehabilitation center in the Botanical Gardens in Athens.
